How to Go Through Your Enlightenment

People often hear the word awakened and they wonder what it means. Being awakened means that you are aware of your spiritual being and that you know that the universe is connecting with you and your life.

The idea of the spiritual awakening is not always clear. People often wonder what it means and what it is like if they have one. The awakening will often happen when you stop focusing on your ego and you learn to be more aware of what you need and what your life is lacking.

This can be like a wave sweeping over you because it takes you to a different spiritual level.

When you look at the idea of the awakening, you will see that you are looking at things differently. You will have different emotions and different thoughts. You will even feel and behave differently than you are used to.

Awakened People

There are people that the world says have awakened such as Buddha or Gandhi. Some believe Mother Theresa is one of them. These people were good and lived their best life and so it is thought that they went through the awakening. They focused on the greater good.

Here are some others that may have been awakened:

  • Russel Brand, wanted to have more knowledge.
  • Jim Carrey was a comedic person that didn’t even need fame.
  • Oprah Winfrey, one who spread kindness to many.

People that are spiritually awake are not going to be perfect, they just live the best that they can.

Patterns

Pay attention to your patterns. If you begin noticing them out of nowhere, this can mean that you are changing your thoughts and your awakening is coming. Here are some things you might say to yourself:

  • Why do I drink so much?
  • Why do I get mad so easily?
  • Why do I compare who I am to others?
  • Why can I not get up early?
  • Why is my life so full of drama?
  • Do I need these things in my diet?

Being aware of what is going on around you is one of the first awakening steps.

Connection

You might start to feel connected in things around you such as your community. Maybe you have chosen to volunteer your time to help others.

You might start asking people things instead of judging them or putting them down and you are aware of the different animals on the planet that you are eating.

You will feel a connection with the planet and no longer want to hurt it or litter.

Attachments

People always have attachments. Attachments tell you who you are and allow you to be the person you are being. It often tells you what you are doing, what you eat, who you hang out with and what you wear.

Think about your life and see if you are able to describe yourself. Here are some examples:

  • I love animals
  • I am vegan
  • I am smart
  • I am fun
  • I cannot eat wheat
  • I am late a lot

We all have different layers and as you pull through them, you reveal yourself.

Inner Peace

Think of what it would take you to feel peaceful inside. Do you have a lot of emotions that are holding you back? Do you feel angry, sad, upset or more?

You need to find peace and be in charge of your emotions. Be positive in what is going on and get rid of negative feelings and thoughts.

Intuition

We all have intuition and when you are going through your awakening, you will see that your intuition will increase. You will start feeling things more and you will learn to trust yourself and believe in what you are doing.

This is a sign that your intuition is growing. Listen to it.

Synchronicity

People that are going through their awakening will experience synchronistic events. There will be people you meet, places that you go and signs that you see.

You might see license plates repeating numbers that you have been seeing a lot. Pay attention to these signs.

Compassion

You will begin to be more compassionate to yourself and to others. You will start to feel that you have changed and that you are becoming a better person.

Don’t forget self-compassion:

  • Loving yourself.
  • Having good humanity
  • Being mindful

No More Fear of Death

People sometimes fear death but once they go through their awakening, they stop being afraid of things so much. They realize that death is just a part of living and they get rid of the fear and have peace.

Being Authentic

With the awakening means that you will realize who you are. You will stop doing what the world tells you and you will begin to be your best self.

You will influence others and you will not be a follower. You will stop trying to please others and you will attract good energies.

Flourishing

People that are awakened will have a better wellbeing. They will connect with their mind and their body and be healthier.

You will have more positive emotions and you will have meaningful relationships. You will see that you are successful and that you are making new friends and better situations.

Practicing Your Awakening

When you want to have your awakening, here are some things you can do:

  • Go out in nature.
  • Meditate.
  • Talk to your spirit guides.
  • Go slower in life.
  • Be thankful.
  • Dance.
  • Have fun.
  • Volunteer.
